Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Maintain plant SCADA and PLC control system.
- Maintain and update graphic interfaces.
- Perform PLC programming for all control systems associated with freeze and vending machine systems as needed.
- Maintain instrumentation, including data acquisition and electronics.
- Troubleshooting of systems.
- Support the laboratory in the maintenance of test equipment.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of electrical and IT systems.
Requirements:
- Experience and competence in SolidWorks Electrical or EPLAN, SCADA (mostly Siemens), and RSLogix.
- Knowledge of basic programming (hex code, bits, packets, ports, logic, scripts, etc.).
- Understanding of networks and networking (protocols, security, switch configuration, and bandwidth.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with automation systems or/and industrial control panels.
- Ability to write clean code, debug code for existing programs, and share code (C++ and others).
- Mechanical engineering / electrical engineering / programming degree counts as an advantage.
- Work experience in electrical installations counts as an advantage.
- Knowledge of Latvian language counts as an advantage.
